Let’s try KiKi Sichuan Pepper Noodles!
KiKi Sichuan Pepper Noodles is a super popular Taiwanese dry noodle brand, and this flavour features fragrant Sichuan pepper with a slightly numbing sensation. The noodles come in a bag package with 5 individual servings, making it great for stocking up!

How does it taste?
The suggested boiling time is 3-5 minutes, and I tried both 4 and 5 minutes. They both work fine, depending on how firm you like your noodles. However, based on my experience with different dry noodles, KiKi’s noodles tend to be on the softer texture. If you prefer chewy, bouncy noodles, this might not be your top pick.
Flavour-wise, the Sichuan pepper aroma is rich, with a “spicy” fragrance. The spiciness is mild to medium, so if you’re a serious spice lover, this might not be spicy enough for you. However, the numbing effect from the Sichuan pepper gives it an interesting kick.
Price & value
This noodle is priced fairly for dry noodles, not too cheap but not overly expensive either. KiKi is one of the most well-known brands in the dry noodle market, so if you want to try a famous Taiwanese instant noodle, this is a solid option.
Hazel B’s rating
The flavour is enjoyable, with a good balance of spice and numbing sensation, but the soft texture might not be for everyone. The cooking process is super easy. Wejust boil the noodles, drain, mix with sauce, and enjoy!
Before opening the sauce packet (especially oil-based sauces like Sichuan pepper oil or sesame paste), massage the packet gently to ensure the oil and seasoning are evenly mixed. This makes a big difference in the final taste!
Hazel B like to give a score for this instant noodle is 6.5/10.
Would I buy it again? Maybe not for everyday meals, but it’s a good pick if you want to try Sichuan pepper noodles!
