Taiwanese Salty Chicken

Ingredients

  • Oyster king mushroom (medium size) – 3-4 pieces
  • Olive oil – 1 teaspoon (for marinating)

  • Sugar – 1/4 teaspoon (for marinating)
  • Cake flour – around 80 g

Food preparation

  • Boil water. Blanch oyster king mushroom for 2 minutes. Squeeze the excessive water out of the mushrooms
  • Mince garlic
  • Cut the oyster king mushroom into triangle shape
  • Slight scratch it like tic-tac-toe on the two surfaces
  • Marinating them into the marinating sauces by mixing olive oil, sesame oil, basil leaves, garlic, soya sauce, five spice powder, rice wine, corn powder, and sugar

Direction

  1. Put the mushrooms on the cake flour in a plate so that the surface of mushrooms are put with all cake flour. Then, put the them back into marinating sauce and put them on the cake flour again.
  2. Heat olive oil in a deep fry pan
  3. Fry them into golden yellow colour with medium fire
  4. Put them into a beautiful plate once it becomes golden yellow colour. Put a basil leaves on the top of them. It is done. Ready for serving.
